IN VIA München e.V. is recognised as a non-profit association and is entitled to issue donation receipts on the basis of the tax office's exemption notice.

We fulfil our commitment to the careful use of resources through internal controlling and auditing by an external auditing company. 

The association's income and expenditure amount to around 6 million euros per year. 

The counselling and support of people by professionals as the focus of the association's activities is also reflected in the personnel costs as the largest expense item. Another significant part of expenditure relates to the cost of rented premises.

More than half of the income comes from the operation of the three youth residences and, to a lesser extent, from the sponsorship of the TAHANAN sheltered housing centre. The second important source of funding is subsidies of various kinds. The two most important donors are the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising and the City of Munich. Other sponsors are the state of Bavaria, the Federal Ministry of the Interior and the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Women, Senior Citizens and Youth. There are also funds from foundations and other donors.

Even if donations and fines only make up a small percentage of our income, they are still very important! We can use these funds to help quickly and unbureaucratically when people turn to us because they are in need. We would be pleased to inform you about the possibility of supporting us financially.
