Living space in Munich is scarce. Migrants and refugees in particular find it very difficult to find their own home here. The "Zuhause ankommen" project supports people with a migration and/or refugee background and their families in finding a real home in Munich. Co-operative housing is particularly suitable for this - it offers living space with contact opportunities, diverse and lively housing projects where everyone learns from each other and real community life takes place.
How does it work?
Living in a cooperative requires members to actively participate, which offers a great opportunity for real integration. However, interested people need appropriate information as well as specific support and guidance. The " Zuhause ankommen" project offers exactly that, from initial contact to support with housing-related difficulties and conflicts after moving in.
