OFFERS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

LearnConnection

As part of the LearnConnection project, IN VIA Connect supports pupils, particularly those with a migration background, with small group lessons and targeted individual learning support in the subjects German, English and maths. LearnConnection takes place on Mondays from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesdays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Wednesdays from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Goethestr. 12.

It currently includes small group lessons to prepare for the Quali in German and maths, German lessons for beginners and advanced learners and English lessons for beginners and advanced learners. Individual support is also offered in German, maths and English as well as language courses and exam preparation in small groups during the school holidays. LearnConnection is orientated towards current needs. For this reason, the team welcomes all enquiries.

The programme is aimed at teenagers and young adults aged 12 to 27, in particular pupils with a migration background and pupils in their final year of secondary school. The programme is also aimed at teenagers and young adults transitioning from school to training or work, as well as teenagers and young adults who want to improve their language skills.

The aims of LearnConnection include promoting German language skills, improving school performance, developing individual learning strategies, boosting self-confidence and preparing for a career.

Specific offers:

  • Fit in German and English for beginners and advanced learners
  • German conversation
  • Learning support in German, English and maths
  • Exam preparation (in German, English and maths)
  • Coaching and job application training
  • Career guidance workshops
  • Depending on requirements, a computer course, grammar course, basic maths course and much more can be organised

The LearnConnection is always looking for volunteers who have good access to young people, have good knowledge of one or more school subjects and can teach pupils the relevant content individually or in small groups. If you are interested, please contact us.
